I’m into circles lately, so there are a lot of them in my mandala designs. The middle looks a bit unfinished, but I like how the inner layers turned out. I need to spend some time coloring these to see how they look.

Monday Mandala 83
Trying out the radial symmetry again, something I’m not always successful with. This one turned out well, though. 🙂
Monday Mandala 82
Still experimenting with different shapes and silhouettes, as well as more black areas. This one has lots of areas to color, especially with gradients.
Monday Mandala 81
This is one of my recent favorites. It’s balanced, I like my linework, and the elements all gel together nicely. Plus, all the circles make me happy. 😛
Monday Mandala 80
Another foray into Native American symbols. I am in love with Navajo sand paintings, so I was using them for inspiration. I like the middle, but I wish I had added a few more layers.
Monday Mandala 79
Lots of black in this one, so it’s quite heavy. I like the scrolls and I think the layers mesh well.
Monday Mandala 78
Did something a bit different with this one – drew the outside layers first and worked my way inward. I like how it turned out. The inner layers are heavy, but I think it works for this design.
Monday Mandala 77
Playing around with different shapes rather than traditional circles. I like how the scroll work came out on this one. So you’ll probably see it again. 🙂
Monday Mandala 76
I like this one. The leaves on the outside remind me of the Federation of Planets logo. I like the inner layers as well – though the balance is off again with this one.
