Ever have one of those days when nothing goes right? I had one of those the day I drew this. It turned out okay, so maybe that whole ‘zen’ idea works. Still frustrated after drawing it, but feeling better.
This one kinda looks like candy – stripes on the outside and then surprises inside. I like all the detail – should be fun to color!
It’s hard to believe I’ve done this for 56 weeks already. Time flies. But at least I’m having fun while it does. 😀
I actually really like how this one turned out. It feels cohesive and balanced, something I often struggle with. I love the contrast of the circles and the lines and the sense of movement from the curved lines. One of my better ones so far.
Not sure how I feel about this one. I like the outer layers, but the inner layers could be more cohesive. But I’m still experimenting and learning new things, so it’s all good, right? 😛
I’m still playing around with the white/black balance of these. I do like how one of the layers turned out to look like a rotating blade – not what I had intended, but it works.
This is one of my better mandalas. Nice balance, repetition is good – I’m pretty pleased with this one. Now if I could just find the time to color some of the recent ones in to see how they look with color!
I think this one is one of my favorites so far. Lots of details in the inner layers, and lots of interesting elements in the outer layers. Still playing around with the black elements, but I am happy with how this one turned out.
More experimenting with symmetry in Procreate. I’m still trying to find the balance of ‘looks hand-drawn’ and ‘looks professional.’ I do like the water elements of this one.
